Exhibition of the legendary English china at the All-Russian Decorative and Folk Art Museum

The large-scale exhibition of the legendary Enslish company Wedgwood, housed in 600 square meters of the All-Russian Decorative and Folk Art Museum, presented works from the Lady Lever Collection (Liverpool), which had never travelled outside of the UK before, as well as some unique and rare objects from the collections of the State Hermitage, State Tretyakov Gallery, Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts, palaces-museums of Moscow and St. Petersburg suburbs (Tsarskoye Selo, Pavlovsk, Peterhof and Ostankino, Kuskovo, Kolomenskoye estates).
The main idea of the display was to show the importance of innovative thinking in the spheres of art, science and entrepreneurship through the prism of Josiah Wedgwood's impressive experience and legacy. Visitors of the exhibition got a chance to see original objects of impeccable taste, high quality, elegance and style produced by the Wedgwood company, displayed in Moscow for the first time.
